- Address health concerns with realistic, sustainable strategies
- Move away from rigid food rules and all-or-nothing thinking
- Develop habits that fit your routine and support long-term health

General Health Nutrition FAQs
Choosing the right nutrition support can raise a lot of questions. Below are some of the most common things women ask us before booking an appointment.
What happens in my first appointment?
Your first appointment is about understanding you. We’ll discuss your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, and goals, then work together to identify practical nutrition strategies that feel realistic and supportive. There’s no pressure, judgement, or one-size-fits-all advice.
Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Yes. We offer secure telehealth appointments Australia-wide, as well as in-clinic appointments across Melbourne. Telehealth appointments provide the same level of personalised care and support.
Who is general nutrition support suitable for?
General nutrition appointments are suitable for adults looking to:
Manage chronic or digestive conditions
Improve overall health and energy
Receive personalised, evidence-based guidance
Build sustainable habits without restrictive dieting
If you’re unsure which service is right for you, we’re happy to help you decide.
Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
No referral is required. You can book directly without seeing your GP first. If you’re eligible, Medicare and private health rebates may still apply.
Will I be given a meal plan?
Rather than rigid meal plans, we provide flexible, practical guidance that fits your lifestyle. During sessions, your dietitian can help you build meal and snack ideas, recipes, and simple structure that works for you.
If additional support is needed, a personalised meal plan can be created outside of consultation time as an optional extra.
What if I’ve tried many diets or nutrition plans before?
Many of our clients come to us feeling frustrated or overwhelmed after trying multiple approaches. Our dietitians take a compassionate, non-judgemental approach and work with you to build confidence, clarity, and sustainable habits at your own pace.
How do I find a dietitian near me?
Our dietitians offer in-clinic appointments across Melbourne’s western suburbs, including Wyndham Vale, Werribee, and Keilor East.
If you’re not located nearby, we also provide secure telehealth appointments Australia-wide, so you can access personalised nutrition support wherever you live.
How many appointments will I need?
This varies for each person. Some clients benefit from a small number of sessions, while others choose ongoing support. We’ll discuss options with you and tailor a plan based on your goals and preferences.
Are your dietitians accredited?
Yes. All appointments are delivered by Accredited Practising Dietitians who provide evidence-based, person-centred care.
Still unsure if general health nutrition is right for you? A first appointment is a chance to talk through your concerns and explore whether ongoing support feels right — with no pressure to continue.
